WORSHIP

Come, let’s worship and
bow down; let’s kneel before
the Lord our Maker.

Psalm 95: 6 CSB

Our worship program at North Topsail Shores offers a warm and meaningful blend of contemporary and traditional music, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Each Sunday, you’ll experience a variety of worship styles—from timeless hymns to modern praise songs—designed to help our congregation connect with God in a genuine and uplifting way. Whether it's contemporary praise music or traditional time-honored hymns, we hope to share the love of Jesus while worshipping together.

Throughout the year, we also enjoy special music, seasonal services, and unique worship events that bring our church family together in celebration and reflection. We warmly invite anyone with a heart for worship to consider joining our worship team.

We are always grateful for musicians, vocalists, and individuals interested in learning how to run sound and video equipment for our services. Whether you’re experienced or just eager to learn, there’s a place for you here.

Meet the Worship Team

Stephanie Collins

Music Leader
Stephanie was born and raised right here in Sneads Ferry. She joined the NTSBC a couple of weeks before getting married in 2013.  Now she and her husband, Joel, have four beautiful children.
At just five years old, Stephanie sang her first solo in church and has continued to love church music ever since. Now, as music director, she hopes to bring joy and encouragement to all who come through the doors.

Rev Dwayne Collins

Worship Team Leader
Dwayne was born in 1957 and raised by his grandparents in Northeastern Georgia. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving four years and meeting his future wife, Jeanne, at Camp Lejeune—where he also came to faith in Christ. After his honorable discharge, the couple moved to Sylva, NC, and completed their undergraduate degrees at Western Carolina University.
Dwayne went on to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he served as Associate Pastor at Riverview Baptist Church in Fort Worth, focusing on youth and evangelism. He and Jeanne also ministered as Summer Missionaries at Possum Kingdom Lake. After earning his Master of Divinity in 1988, Dwayne was called to the mission on Topsail Island, which later became North Topsail Shores Baptist Church.
